Forest Development Agency
With the objective of the integrated development of village with the afforestation activity and to make the people more responsive in the said programme, Forest Development Agencies (FDA) have been created in the State (as per the direction of the GOI). Presently, FDAs are formed in following 25 Forest Divisions
In all the above 25 divisions, the plan prepared have already got approval from the GOI and the FDA have become functional. The department has a plan to expand the said programme in all the Divisions of the State.
