The Training, Research and Communication Circle under CFP is situated in Gandhinagar and is mainly concerned with looking after the Training, Research and Communication needs of the Community Forestry wing of the Forest Department.
It is headed by a Conservator of Forests who is helped in his task by 6 Dy. Conservator of Forests, to look after the various aspects such as training of Range Forest Officers, which is looked after by Dy. Conservator of Forests, designated as Principal, Gujarat Forest Ranger's College, Rajpipla. The Conservator of Forests, looks after training of Beat Guards, Foresters, Forestry Extension Assistants (FEA) and Protection Assistant (PA). Four other Dy. Conservator of Forests, who look after the Research, Communication, Training and staff training needs of the department.
