Project Objective
|
To restore degraded forests and improve livelihood for and empower the local people who are dependent on forests by promoting sustainable forest management including JFM plantation and and community /tribal development, thereby improving environment and alleviating poverty.

12 Tribal & 3 Non Tribal Districts 13 Territorial Forest Division (including 6 PAs) & 1 Territorial sub division, 1 Wildlife Division (1 PA), 10 Social Forestry Divisions of Gujarat State. Forest areas in Rajkot Forest Division for Grass lands and Jamnagar MNP division, Kutch (W) /Kutch (E) division for Mangroves.
