Gujarat is pioneer in organizing Nature Education Camps. Nature Education camps (NEC) are organized for school going children at 22 Nature Education sites with main objective to bring awareness about forest, Wildlife and biodiversity through informal education.

Every year 900 Nature Education Camps are organized at 22 Nature Education sites.

Target groups - school going students and teachers.

50 students and 5 teachers in each Nature Education Camp.
